Low Light Mode
This feature is only available on Zenfone 5 and above, Low Light Mode helps you to take clearer photos. Images will look bright even in low light conditions by combining several pixels and using an image processing algorithm. A lot of work is done behind the scenes; four adjacent pixels are combined into one image processing algorithm and apply to increase light sensitivity up to 400% and increase color contrast up to 200%.
If you feel familiar with this term, ASUS Low Light mode works somewhat similar to the oversampling technique use in the Nokia PureView image sensor even though the latter is more sophisticated. The end result is a brighter image by reducing noise, but at a lower resolution. When the low light mode is activate, the 8-megapixel rear camera on the ZenFone 5 is equivalent to 2-megapixel photos while the 13-megapixel rear camera of the ZenFone 6 is equivalent to 3-megapixel photos (similar to the Padfone Infinity).

Similar to Time Shift on BlackBerry 10 OS, Time Rewind takes several pictures before and after you press the shutter button so that your chances of getting perfect / current images are higher.
